Carter's pink sweater with elephant applique and cocoa trim (6 mo), brown and what polka dot pants with ruffled cuff and pink ribbon embellishment (6 mo), and pink long-sleeve onesie (6 mo). Thanks to Dan and Colleen for this outfit - - it was great for the first day of cooler weather! (It cracks me up that she was 'showing off' the sweater in the second image...). She had really cute pink mouse booties from The Children's Place on too - - but somehow, they didn't stay on for the photo... (but thanks to Greg and Judy for those!!)

Taking time to smell the roses...
Janie and Jack pink and red-striped dress (0-3 mo) with Carter's white long-sleeve onesie (6 mo) and Janie and Jack white and cherry shoes. This picture was taken in our backyard this evening - - beautiful weather and the roses are blooming again? She's a little wrinkled after being the dress all day... :0) Many thanks to Sarah and Branson for this adorable outfit! I've been waiting and waiting for it to fit!

A Little Under the Weather
Lila has had a cold for the past few days (and a pretty restless night last night), so she's sticking pretty close to home today... but as you can see, it really hasn't put a damper on her spirit. :0) Victoria Kids pink collared romper (3-6 mo). Thanks to (great) Grandma Shirley and (great) Grandpa Joe for this comfy outfit!

Swinging Away
Disney's Winnie the Pooh sleeveless white onesie with pink embroidery and pink cocoa-trimmed ruffled pants (3-6 mo). This outfit also has a very cute kimono-style jacket, but it was unexpectedly warmer today! Many thanks to the Polansky family for this outfit - - we've gotten a ton of use out of it!

New hat for fall
Lila had her first day with Ms. Tarah today while I worked out of the Philadelphia office. Seems like everyone had a great day! Didn't have a chance to nab a photo, but thought you'd enjoy this one taken on Sunday right before we took the dogs for a walk. She's wearing her new knit raspberry beret (designed by Leslie Stern Struzynski from Happy Cakes Creations) purchased from The Muse in Frederick. All of the products in the store are made by regional artisans - - really cool place and Whitney, the owner, couldn't be nicer! Leslie was kind enough to send me her website URL and she has a WONDERFUL collection of knit baby products! In her email, she mentioned that she will be adding more products to the site later next month. I am LOVING her Halloween collection! I was thinking that Lila would be a sweet pea for Halloween (from Pink Taffy Designs)... but the Jack O Cutie in Leslie's collection is really cute too! Decisions, decisions.... :0)

First day in the office ...
Carter's pink and green long sleeve flowered onesie, flowered bootleg cotton pants and striped fleece vest (6 mo). Thanks to (Grandma) Cathy for the onesie and pants! Today was my first day back from maternity leave and Lila did a great job settling into her new "office!" This was taken just after breakfast before we made our commute. :0)

Aunt Sarah's Birthday Dinner
Osh Kosh yellow butterfly t-shirt and pink/orange skort (3 mo) with Carter's pink and yellow butterfly sweater (3 mo). Had a great time at Clyde's in Columbia this afternoon for (Aunt) Sarah's 22nd birthday dinner. This picture was taken by the lake outside the river.
And since it was Lila's 3 month birthday (can you believe she was born 12 weeks ago?), we tried rice cereal with pear juice tonight... Pat said it didn't taste too bad... but it tuckered Lila out!

Saturday with Daddy
Watching Sports Center in the morning: It finally fits! Pat has been waiting and waiting to put this on Lila...Pink White Sox Onesie (3-6 mo) - - - thanks to the Collins' family for the White Sox ensemble! (Don't worry Cathy and Casey - - I'll find a way to sneak the Cubs onesie on soon, too.) :0)
Out to lunch in Urbana at Mangia e Beve: Not warm enough to be out in just a onesie so we had to have a costume change... Zutano Baby's pink and orange striped leggings, fushia t-shirt and pink floral print smock (all 0-6 mo). Thanks to Patti and Dave McDonald for this adorable outfit!
We had a great afternoon shopping in Frederick after lunch... beautiful weather, ice cream on the promenade and my new favorite gift shop: The Muse.

A warm day in Baltimore
Miniwear blue Hawaiian print tank top and ruffled bell-bottoms (3-6 mo). Lila has really taken a liking to her ladybug mobile (that's what she's staring at in these pictures) and has a particular affinity for ceiling fans? :0) Thanks to Mom for the very cute outfit and to Sarah for the mobile! The rain finally cleared up and the sun is out! Looking forward to a beautiful weekend...

Philadelphia Road Trip
Carter's red ruffled shrug and white long sleeve onesie (6 mo), Koala Baby's bootleg denim jeans (3-6 mo) and Janie & Jack white leather and cherry shoes (2). I have to say that I LOVE the shoes - - so adorable and Lila seemed to want to stand up even more when wearing them. Thanks so much for them, Sarah!
We went to Philadelphia today to introduce Lila to my fabulous co-workers at UPenn and to have lunch at Suburban Square with Sophie and Jen. After lunch, the four of us went to Janie & Jack and I picked up the most adorable knit pumpkin hat for Lila. Photos coming soon.
Thanks for a great day, everyone!

Checking out the new playmat
Carter's Play All Day flower one-piece (3 mo... snaps all the way down the front and down both legs - - great for changing diapers!). While I was moving into my new office today, Lila was checking out some of her new "office" toys... including this garden activity mat from Skip Hop. She was having a great time rolling side to side! Thanks to John, Laura, Caitlin, Jack and Matthew for the cute outfit!
We shopped the Carter's sale at Babies R Us today - - so I think you'll be seeing a lot more Carter's soon...
Note - sorry if the images aren't too clear today! They were taken with my iPhone during the move... REALLY busy day! :0)

Farmer's Market Sunday
Carter's "This is What Cute Looks Like" onesie (3 mo) and cuffed light pink/dark pink cotton pants (3 mo). The white and pink flowered receiving blanket is from KissyKissy - - and it's definitely a favorite of ours. It's light weight and super soft (been washed about a million times this summer and still fabulous!). Thanks (great) Grandma Shirley and (great) Grandpa Joe for the blanket! Had a great time at the Baltimore Farmer's Market this morning. Lila seemed in awe all of the fresh flowers, so we had to pick up some gorgeous sunflowers for the kitchen.

Laying on the Hippo Blanket
Carter's pink and brown flowered long sleeve shirt (3 mo) and brown corduroy pants with ruffle on the back (3 mo) with Gymboree hippo stroller blanket. Thanks to the Fortier's for the blanket - - soo cute!! It's the perfect weight blanket for fall and Lila played/slept on it all morning. I can't believe how quickly she seems to be growing out of 3 month clothes - - and she's only 11 weeks old tomorrow!

Lounging Around
Light pink romper from First Impressions (3-6 mo) and white cardigan with pink/yellow embroidered flowers from Gymboree (0-3 mo). Thanks to Peter and Kathy for the cardigan and Aunt Lorraine for the romper! Although she's just started to fit into the romper, she's been wearing the sweater all summer. It has been great for chilly air conditioning!!
