A Day in the Life...
Reading in the morning after a mid-morning snack while I catch up on email.
Waking up from an afternoon nap - - yes, she prefers not to wear pants.
All bundled up for our after-work walk through the park. Thanks to Greg and Judy for the very warm, fleece-lined white Nautica Kids hoodie (12 mo) and to (grandma) Cathy for the brown and pink flower boots from Carter's (6 mo).

Carter's white long-sleeve onesie (6 mo), Koala Baby boot-cut denim jeans (3-6 mo) and First Impressions green and white smocked top with pink floral embroidery (0-3 mo). Thanks to Carol Ann and Rich for the top - - we got a lot of use out of it this summer and it makes a cute smock now that it's cooler out! :0)

Pink Pigs and Leg Warmers
Carter's white, brown and pink sweater dress (3 mo), Carter's long sleeve pink onesie (6 mo), Circo white legwarmers, and Carter's pink and brown (look like shoes!) socks. Truth told, I was skeptical about the leg warmers - - but they seemed to keep her toasty and made diaper changing a lot easier!
Lila has really started to love playing with the the super-soft pink pig from her (great) Gram and (great) Grandpa Weisse!
And many thanks to those who donated to Lila's Very Hungry Caterpillar Book Drive! Although it's not too late to donate, the raffle is now closed. Congrats to the winner!! (Who wished to remain anonymous!) :0)

Lila's Very Hungry Caterpillar Book Drive
One of Lila's favorite books is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle, and that book just happens to be the selected book for the 2009 Read for the Record Campaign. On October 8, 2009, the Read for the Record campaign hopes to have 1 million children read this book.
We're hoping you'd like to help inquisitive little children like Lila discover the magic of Eric Carle's book. For every $10 raised, Jumpstart will donate a book to a child in a low-income area. Help us reach our goal of 25 books! Please visit our online book drive page and make a donation!
http://www.readfortherecord.org/goto/lilasbookdrive
Enter the raffle to win a free copy of the book by doing one of these things! (Must be completed by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 9, 2009).

Sunday Afternoon at the Zoo
Koala Baby capri khaki pants (0-3 mo), Lamaze blue onesie with butterfly print (6 mo), Carter's light pink hoodie with fuchsia flower (3 mo) and Robeez light and dark pink leather shoes (sz. 2).
We had beautiful weather today and a great time this afternoon with (grandma) Cathy at the zoo! The elephants were particularly entertaining. Lila is definitely starting to teeth and has 'found her tongue...' (hence the first photo!).

Out and About on the Avenue
Baby Gap blue shirt with pink, brown and white flowers (6 mo), Baby Gap brown pants with pink, blue and white flowers (3-6 mo), and Robeez pink leather shoes (sz. 2). Lila and I had a great time shopping on the Avenue with (great) Grandma Phyllis! Lila really seemed to like sitting forward in the stroller so she could see everything that was happening. Thanks to the Fortier family for the pants, and to Pat, Jane, Molly, Sean and Ryan for the shirt. And thanks to Mom for the shoes!
