And All That Sass...

It seems our budding fashionista has a style all her own... look what she pulled out of the hat box today! This fabulous little knit cap was made by Leslie at Happy Cakes Creations. We actually bought it and used it last fall - - but looks like she finally grew into it! Tree embroidered shirt and skirt/leggings with knee pads are from Baby Gap.

Tennis anyone?

Playground Cutie

Baby Gap Green "Sweet" Watermelon Tee (12-18 mo) and magenta front-tie shorts (18-24 mo). Had a great time at Oregon Ridge Playground this morning... got out early before work and before the heat! Look for a full playground write-up on (cool) progeny this week!

Blueberry for Sal (Lila)

Carter's "I feel happy" onesie (18 mo) with cap-sleeve white button down sweater (24 mo) and Baby Gap pink romper shorts (18-24 mo). The Lila Bug is a blueberry fanatic - - as evidenced in these recent park picnic pictures! Try and say that five times fast!! This lunchtime expedition reminded me of the Blueberries for Sal book we used to read in elementary school... And did I mention that I LOVE the JJ Cole picnic blanket? It's weighted, water proof and washes effortlessly!

Visiting the Kennedy Presidential Library

Baby Gap pink hoodie (18-24 mo) and green "sweet" watermelon graphic tee (18-24 mo). Paired with Gymboree cropped jeans trimmed in green ribbon and white daisies, and pink Riley Roos (sz 3). Had a chance to visit the Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston last weekend with Grandma Robin, Aunt Sarah and Ms. Kathleen. Lila walked (with the assistance of two fingers!) most of the exhibits, and loved looking at things through the glass partitions. Our apologies to the poor employee that had to wash off all her fingerprints after we left...

Yoga Chic

Baby Gap to the rescue! On our recent trip to Massachusetts, the temperature dropped pretty unexpectedly. We ran to the local Baby Gap and picked up this adorable ivory smocked top with button down back and gray boot leg yoga pants (both 18-24 mo) for a steal. Doesn't she look comfy!?! And she loved seeing her Massachusetts family - - here are pics of (great) Grandma Joan and (great) Aunt Ann.

Meeting Milkshake

BabyGap gray with multicolor polka dot romper(18-24 mo). We had the good fortune of attending KidStock 2010 this past weekend, and Lila got to meet Lisa and Mikel from one of her favorite bands - - Milkshake! Seriously, turn on a Milkshake tune and the little bug starts bouncing. You really ought to give them a listen. Check out our trip to KidStock on our other blog: (cool) progeny. Toddling Tunic

Baby Gap Madras print tunic (18-24 mo) with denim leggings. Lila is starting to stand up on her own and is starting to take a few tentative steps! Thanks, Grandma Cathy for the cute tunic! One day we'll snap a photo of the matching bucket hat, too! :0)

Zoo Escape

Baby Gap Pink/Green Embroidered shirt with keyhole button in the back and Brenan's Favorite pink yoga pants (both 12-18 mo). It was so beautiful out today (and they are calling for a weekend of rain), that Lila and I escaped work a bit at lunch time and went to the zoo. It's right by our house and we have a membership, so it wasn't a big deal to do a mini-excursion. She giggled at all of the other "big" kids - - the zoo was a ZOO!- - and REALLY loved the giraffes and crawling in the grass. :0)
