Butterfly Garden

Wow - - it's been a WHILE since I posted! Here are a few photos from the Butterfly Exhibit at the Nature Museum in Chicago. The Bug is all Gymboreed-out here in their fall "Owl" collection: brown corduroy pants with flower embellishments, a hot pink "tree" shirt, and striped short-sleeved hoodie (all 18-24 mo). New boots too! Stride Rite brown zip-up boots that light up. Awww yeah.

Jeff visits Charm City

We were lucky to have our friend Jeff visit over Labor Day weekend. He and the Bug seemed to really hit it off!

Thanks to Mike and Liz for the adorable Notre Dame dress! The Bug was all decked out for the first ND game... we even got a little grief on the playground...

And thanks to Grandma Cathy and Grandpa Tim for the Jackson Hole hat. Lila has developed a huge love of hats lately... especially this one 'cuz it looks just like Dad's. :)

And All That Sass...

It seems our budding fashionista has a style all her own... look what she pulled out of the hat box today! This fabulous little knit cap was made by Leslie at Happy Cakes Creations. We actually bought it and used it last fall - - but looks like she finally grew into it! Tree embroidered shirt and skirt/leggings with knee pads are from Baby Gap.

Beach Baby

All dressed up - - and at the beach. Many thanks to Martin and Kathy Kolinski for the beautiful lilac Halabaloo voile dress (18 mo.). They picked it up at M and Em's in Glen Ellyn, Illinois - - and I think we might be making a stop there next time we're near the Windy City!
