One of Lila's favorite books is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle, and that book just happens to be the selected book for the 2009 Read for the Record Campaign. On October 8, 2009, the Read for the Record campaign hopes to have 1 million children read this book.We're hoping you'd like to help inquisitive little children like Lila discover the magic of Eric Carle's book. This is great - I re-tweeted and posted to one of my fan pages. I own 3 copies of The Very Hungry Caterpillar for use with my kids and in the classroom. I signed up to read the book on the 8th with my children.
